A rectangle Cheese Soufflé, why not? Traditionally you make the Soufflé in ramekins, they are round, different sizes. I was tired of meat and vegetables, so I jumped into the internet and found the easiest recipe from www.realsimple.com Perfect for an evening with my children, quick, light and easy. Enjoyed with fruits.
½ cup milk or little more
60g shredded cheese (I had Emmentaler)
shredded parmesan cheese to sprinkle your ramekin
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites (beat egg whites, stiff)
little cayenne pepper
1.grease your ramekin with little butter and then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
2.warm your butter in your pan, then add flour (make a roux), then add the milk, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, little salt (make your sauce Béchamel).
3.melt the cheese in the sauce. (turn off fire)
4.add egg yolks, mix well.
5.add egg whites, mix well
5.transfer this to your ramekin and bake for 30min. at 190C
|Add nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt to your white sauce (Béchamel)
|Then add first your egg yolks and mix, THEN add egg whites and mix.
