Recipe: Andalusian salad, romaine lettuce with Serrano ham ♪

A beautiful salad from southern Spain, Andalucía. The key of this salad is the famous Jamón Serrano. The combination of fresh garlic, green onions, tomatos in the vinaigrette makes a unique strong flavor. Please enjoy this salad. This recipe is based from my book “Savoring Spain” from William-Sonoma.  

Romaine lettuce
Serrano Ham
Tomatoes, cut in little cubes (peeled and take out the pulp)

1 clove garlic, chopped
2 tsp. green onions
2 tsp. olive oil
2 or 3 tsp. red wine vinegar
little cumin, sweet paprika, salt and pepper.

Note: I would be careful giving this vinaigrette to small children, since garlic and green onions can be a little strong for them. You may also use butter lettuce instead of romaine lettuce.
