Kale is high in calcium and vitamin K, both highly recommended for the health of your bones. This recipe is an inspiration from Leite’s Culinaria (http://leitesculinaria.com/85391/recipes-kale-chips.html), until yesterday I never realized that kale is the same as Grünkohl, enjoyed in the northern part of Germany during winter.
Kale chips are very thin, very crispy, important is to cut all the thick stems, stems
are very bitter and difficult to chew, even if they are crispy. These chips are healthy and easy to make.
Do not forget to pat dry before you put these in the oven.
1 bunch of kale
1. cut in snacky bite sizes and remove all thick stems.
2. put on wax paper, little olive oil and kosher salt overall and put in the oven for 350F for about 15 minutes or less.
Original, healthy and easy to make.
