Recipe: Kassler mit Apfel-Senf Sosse, Smoked pork meat with apple-mustard sauce. (Germany)

Kassler (Pork meat, hickory smoked)

1/2 white onion, sliced

1 apple, cubes

lemon juice

1 TBSP butter

1/4 cup white wine

1 cup vegetable stock

1/2 cup heavy cream

little salt, pepper

mustard

parsley, optional

1. rub the meat in mustard, then brown meat in butter, set aside.

2. caramelize onions, add lemon juice into apple, then add this into onions, caramelize.

3. deglaze with the white wine, then add the vegetable stock, add the meat.

4. cook in low heat, covered for about 15 minutes.

5. add cream, mix

6. sprinkle parsley
