Recipe: Brussel Sprouts – Rosenkohl

This is a perfect recipe when you have a large group, banquets or simple, just for your family. Good for the holidays as well…and healthy.

Brussels sprout (about 12 pieces)

1 TBSP butter

1 TBSP sugar

1/4 onions, chopped

little bacon, cut in little pieces

salt, pepper,

little nutmeg, about 1/8 tsp

1/2 to 3/4 cup of vegetable stock


1. in butter, add onions and bacon. mix, until caramelized, then add the sugar, mix.

2. add the Brussel Sprouts, mix, then salt, pepper, nutmeg, mix.

3. add the vegetable stock, mix, then cover and simmer for about 15 minutes in low heat and covered.

That’s it!
