Recipe: Stir fried with pork, leeks, bell peppers and ginger! (China)

This is one of the many stir fried recipes I like to cook, sometimes I am in the mood of just simple citric soy sauce, sometimes with black bean paste or this time, with oyster sauce.

Normally, when I stir fry meat with vegetables, I like to marinate the meat first, so that the meat has flavor and this can blend with the vegetables. The advantage of cooking and eating Chinese food for me is that you have everything mixed in one, meats, veggies and you eat over the rice. Sometimes for me, it takes a little longer to prepare for the mix (cutting the veggies in julienne or cubes), but then the reward is satisfied.

200g pork meat, cut in slices, the thinner, the better, marinate in 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sake and some pepper

1 leek, all white and green, cut in julienne

1 bell pepper, cut in julienne

2 TB ginger, julienne

1 green onion, chopped

1 TBSP oyster sauce

1 TBSP sake

1 tsp sugar

salt, pepper

1. one you marinate the meat for about 30 minutes, stir fry in a little oil in wok.

2. add all vegetables, mix for about 1 minute.

3. add all other ingredients, oyster sauce, sake, sugar, salt, pepper and stir fry for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Simple, fast and healthy.
