This is easy! I bought “perfect pizza flour blend” from King Arthur, this is perfect for pizza and this is why:
1. It tastes very good.
2. It does not get hard, as if you would use regular flour. It is still soft and tastes good the next day.
The point is to have one hour of rest time, before you make your pizza. So start with mixing all ingredients and let the dough rest for an hour. Right after make your sauce, simple, you do not need to cook, just mix all ingredients and let it rest with your dough, so that all the flavors have blended by the time you make the pizza.
Dough for 15×10,5 inches baking pan. (you may have more dough than you wish, you can make a small pizza in another pan, that is what I did):
2 cups King Arthur perfect pizza flour blend
1 tsp yeast
1/2 or less tsp salt
1 cup warm water (you may need more)
1. Mix all dry ingredients. Mix water with olive oil and add to dry ingredients, mix for about 10 minutes and let it rest for an hour in room temperature. Cover with Saran Wrap.
1/4 cup of tomato paste
about 70ml of warm water or more
salt, pepper, garlic powder, herbs ( I used Italian seasoning from earths pride organics: basil, oregano, marjora,
thyme, rosemary and sage)
1 tsp. sugar
1. Mix all and let it rest.
After an hour, form your pizza and:
spread your sauce, add mozzarella cheese or another you like and all the toppings you wish!
